How much does it cost to tour the museum?

Does the museum offer activities for school field trips, camps, and after-school programs?
Absolutely! Please contact the museum to reserve your field trip. We can discuss the available activities to ensure your visit is fun, educational, and engaging.
Is the museum physically accessible?
The museum is wheelchair, walker and stroller accessible. However, there is not an automatic door opener at the main entrance. If you would like assistance with the front door, please ring the doorbell to the right of the double doors. You may also reach staff at: 336-242-2035 or 336-242-2036 or 336-242-2870.
Where is the entrance ramp and elevator?
The entrance ramp is located on the north side of the building along Center Street. Inside, the elevator is located in the center of the entrance lobby. Most of the museum can be accessed safely and comfortably, but there are some architectural limitations. Please contact the museum to discuss any accommodations we may be able to provide to make the most of your visit.
Is museum space available to be reserved for private meetings and events, such as weddings?
No, the museum does not have space available for private meetings and events. We do not close regularly scheduled exhibits and services to accommodate private gatherings, nor do we offer venue rentals after hours. However, if you're interested in taking photos for your special occasion, the steps of the Old Courthouse are a popular spot!
